Last updated: Aug 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern registration for and attendance at Fanovation 2026 (the “Event”), organized by [Fano Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“Fano”, “we”, “us”)]. By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, or attending the Event, you (“you”, the “Attendee”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. The Event

Fanovation 2026 is a one-day conference taking place on 8 October 2026, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (doors open 8:30 am), at Island Shangri-La, Supreme Court Road, Admiralty, Hong Kong. The Event includes keynote sessions, panel discussions, breakout tracks, an exhibition area, and networking sessions as set out in the published agenda, which is subject to change in accordance with Section 6.

2. Eligibility & Registration

The Event is intended for business and professional attendees. Fano reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or decline any registration, and to remove any attendee from the Event, without refund, if their conduct breaches these Terms or the Code of Conduct in Section 8. Information provided during registration must be accurate and complete. Attendee badges are non-transferable to a different individual unless expressly approved by Fano in writing.

3. Tickets, Pricing & Payment

Ticket types, pricing, and inclusions (including Early Bird and Standard pricing windows) are as published on the official Event registration page at the time of purchase. All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, levies, or payment processing fees unless stated otherwise. Full payment is required at the time of registration to confirm a ticket. Fano reserves the right to adjust pricing for tickets not yet purchased at any time, including moving from Early Bird to Standard pricing on the published date.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.

5. Sponsors & Exhibitors

Organizations participating as sponsors, exhibitors, or supporting organizations are additionally bound by the terms set out in their respective sponsorship or partnership agreement and package. In the event of any conflict between those terms and these Terms, the sponsorship or partnership agreement shall prevail with respect to that organization’s participation.

6. Changes, Postponement & Cancellation of the Event

Fano reserves the right to change the Event’s programme, speakers, venue, or timing without prior notice, and to postpone or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, public health measures, venue unavailability, or government restrictions) (“Force Majeure Event”).

If the Event is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event, Fano will, at its discretion, either (a) reschedule the Event and honor existing tickets for the new date, or (b) issue a partial or full refund. Fano will not be liable for any indirect losses (including travel or accommodation costs) arising from any change, postponement, or cancellation of the Event.

7. Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Fano does not tolerate harassment, discriminatory behavior, or disruptive conduct in any form. Fano reserves the right to remove any individual from the Event without refund for violating this Code of Conduct, at its sole discretion.

8. Photography, Recording & Media Consent

Photography, audio, and video recording may take place throughout the Event for Fano’s marketing, promotional, and archival purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to Fano’s use of such materials, including your likeness and voice, across its marketing channels, without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify Fano staff on-site in writing.

9. Intellectual Property

All content presented at the Event, including presentations, materials, and branding, remains the intellectual property of Fano or the respective presenting organization. Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute session content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Fano and the relevant presenter.

10. Personal Data & Privacy

Personal data collected during registration will be processed in accordance with Fano’s Privacy Policy, available at https://fano.ai/privacy-and-cookie-policy/. Your registration details may be shared with Event sponsors solely for the purposes of the Event (e.g. lead scanning at exhibition booths) unless you opt out during registration.

11. Health & Safety

Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety while at the Event and must comply with all venue safety instructions and any applicable public health guidelines in effect at the time of the Event. Attendees with health conditions that may be affected by attendance should seek appropriate advice before registering.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fano, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from an attendee’s registration for or attendance at the Event, including loss of property, personal injury (except where caused by Fano’s negligence), or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Amendments to These Terms

Fano may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your registration will govern your participation in the Event. Material changes will be notified via the Event website or by email to registered attendees where practicable.
